I began to ponder Claudine's comment about a "layered space". I was missing an Edge/Cliff, the only place where you can visualize the layers of earth. I was also watching "planet green" about the creation of the Himalayas and their immense layers of history and geological movements. I guess a combination of the two resulted in today's painting.
When I saw this, I immediately thought of Claudine's work, but not for any special reason...I guess your pondering of her work just shines through. I like the tonal variations in the bottom half of this cliff.
